Lind Dinse is chair of the Department of Social Work at Messiah University and attends the Lancaster (PA) Brethren in Christ Church. She was the principal investigator for this study; the secondary investigators were Andrea Smith, Praveen Kama Rudra, and Morgan Adams, with research assistants Summer Weaver and April Teroczi. This article is adapted from their forthcoming book which will focus on listening to and learning from those who experienced trauma within the church.
