Shelly A. Skinner is an assistant professor of Christian Ministries at Messiah University. She coordinates the Fitness for Ministry program and teaches various ministry courses in the Christian Ministries major. She also teaches a first-year seminar entitled The Way: From Nomads to Exiles (why young adults do/don’t connect to the church). She received her EdD from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. She also served in a local church context as the minister of youth in California for over nineteen years.
