Hauerwas, who has done some significant work on neo-Anabaptist and two kingdom ethics, makes some brilliant points about the pitfalls of Evangelical thinking about the church and the nature of the Christian life — pitfalls, I think, that the Brethren in Christ would do well to consider and avoid.
