Over the weekend, my wife and I packed up our stuff and moved to Philadelphia, where we’ll be living for the next two years as I complete my Master’s degree in public history at Temple University.
In recognition of our new city, I put together a series of historical snapshots of Brethren in Christ at work and at worship in the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection. (Click on the thumbnail to enlarge.)
These snapshots show scenes from the Philadelphia Mission, which split from the Brethren in Christ Church in the 1960s to form the Calvary Holiness Church.
